Dr. Simi Oke, a medical doctor, was looking for more. ”While I enjoyed my time working as a doctor in the NHS for 5 years, I found myself feeling frustrated by the underutilization of my broad skillset: I felt I had more to offer but nowhere to channel it.
So I decided to take my medical knowledge, passion for building positive team culture, and eagerness to learn and jump into the world of med-tech start-ups, where I now hold the position of Head of BD for a biotech company.
Prior to this, I worked as a Medical Research Manager and Senior Medical Advisor at an early-stage aerospace med-tech start-up where I set-up the medical department and worked in a cross-functional team to lead product development activities and build effective medical strategies to get med-tech aviation products to market.”
